Revive40

The Crisis — WHy we exist.

Pornography has become the silent epidemic inside the church.

75% of Christian men admit to struggling with habitual sexual sin on a regular basis. For many, it’s more than a struggle, it’s an addiction. It’s isolating. It’s enslaving. It robs men of spiritual clarity, moral courage, and relational trust. And it's one of the leading causes of divorce among Christian families.

Most men fight it alone. Most churches don’t talk about it. And most families don’t survive it.

That’s why Revive40 exists.

Revive40

The mission of Revive40 is to create effective, biblically based recovery groups that help men break free from sexual lust and pursue becoming men of godly integrity. These groups are safe, confidential places of hope for men who are addicted to porn and other unwanted sexual behaviors.

Our Mission

Revive40

Our Vision

We want to see hundreds of locations with thousands of men set free every year from the effects of sexual lust, and to restore what’s been broken in their lives, their families, and their faith communities across Phoenix and beyond.

How We Work

Revive40

Group Format

We meet weekly in confidential men’s groups. We have worship, teaching, and small groups. Every meeting is a place to share openly, receive encouragement, and hold each other accountable.

Revive40

Our biblically based WIN curriculum teaches seven winning strategies for breaking free from pornography and sexual sin. It equips men to understand the root of their struggle, fight with both spiritual and practical tools, and walk in lasting freedom.

Curriculum

Revive40

Leadership model

Every group is led by a Campus Coach, a man who’s experienced his own recovery journey and is now walking in freedom. Coaches guide the group through the curriculum, model freedom, and challenge men to grow in integrity, faith, and relationships.

Our Story

In January 2000, our founder Steve Wagner launched a small men’s recovery group under the name Freedom Fellowship. He had personally walked through the fire of sexual brokenness and knew firsthand the devastation porn and sexual sin could cause. Not just to a man’s soul, but to his marriage, his faith, and his family.

The first week, two men showed up. Week by week, that group grew. Men were getting honest. Chains were breaking. God took three men and built that to impact thousands.

In 2016, we rebranded as Revive40 to reflect both the scale of the problem and the depth of our calling. Research shows that over 40 million Christian men are trapped in pornography and other sexual addictions. Our mission is to see God revive those lives, like he revived the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel 37. One group, one man, one breakthrough at a time.

Today, Revive40 serves hundreds of men through weekly groups both in-person and online, and we've expanded to include Beloved, a support ministry for women who have experienced betrayal trauma due to a partner's sexual sin.

But this is more than a local ministry. It’s a growing movement to restore biblical manhood and rebuild families, beginning with a few men and expanding across the nation.
